Debutante actress, Kalki Koechlin plays the new age Chandramukhi aka Chanda in Anurag Kashyap’s Dev D, a modern take on the classic Devdas. Her Chanda defies all conventions in her revamped avatar.

After the super success of Ghajini, Asin is busy learning the ancient form of martial art Kalaripayattu. The Ghajini starlet has signed an International project opposite Kamal Haasan called ’19th Step’. This is her second film with him after ‘Dasavataram’. Mumbai (PTI): Ajay Devgan is all excited to begin work on his second home production, which will be a comedy film directed by ‘Golmaal’ famed Rohit Shetty.
The actor, who made his directorial debut with ‘U, Me aur Hum’ last year said the (untitled) film will be a comedy and start rolling in March in picturesque Goa.
Devgan will be paired opposite Bipasha Basu in the film that also stars Sanjay Dutt and Fardeen Khan.

The powerful Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) and South Indian Artists Association, referred to as the Nadigar Sangam, have jointly issued a statement asking producers to refrain from working with the numero uno actress in south Indian films.
