Karachi Fashion Week 2010 – Day 2

Karachi Fashion Week 2010 being organized from 31st January – 3rd February, 2010, is Pakistan’s platform on International Fashion Week circuits joining Paris, Milan, New York, Sydney, London & India. This is a platform which encourages the business of fashion, awareness of fashion and infuses new and fresh talent in the industry.
Pakistani models presents creation by various designers on the second day of Karachi Fashion Week in Karachi on February 1, 2010. The fashion week is organised by Pakistan textiles and Commerce ministries to promote the South Asian textile.-

Participate in Film Making Competition in London

‘Filmmaking for Social Change, 2010′ will provide 30 young filmmakers from Karachi and Lahore the opportunity to produce ten films that will be shown at the London International Documentary Film Festival (LIDF) in May this year.
The project will provide young Pakistani filmmakers with access to an international platform to showcase the voices and stories of ordinary Pakistanis and raise awareness in Pakistan and the UK.

8th National Youth Performing Arts Festival Lahore

The 8th Youth Performing Arts Festival of the Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop (RPTW) kicked off on Thursday, 3rd December to 7th December at the Peeru’s Café, Lahore. This was the first time that the youth festival wass being organized at Peeru’s Café instead of the Alhamra Cultural Complex due to the non-availability of sponsors.

Lux Style Awards 2009

The Lux Style Awards did not take place this year. Pakistani fashion in Milan Fashion Week 2009

Models wear creations of Pakistani fashion designers at women’s Spring/Summer 2010 fashion collection, presented in Milan, Italy on Wednesday Sept. 30, 2009. The event was part of the ‘N-U-DE New Upcoming Designers Project’ launched by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana to enhance international designers. Pakistan’s fashion featured on Milan catwalks for the first time.
Renowned Pakistani Fashion designer Maheen Khan, Rizwan Baig and Deepak Perwani’s collections were showcased in the Milan ramp.

Mahnoor Baloch In Hollywood Movie

Mahnoor Baloch entered the world of modeling at the age of twenty. Later, she appeared in Pakistani television commercials as well. She started her acting career from PTV’s mega hit drama serial, ‘Marvi’, directed by Sultana Siddiqui. Mahnoor’s reputation for quality work stands so high, that almost every fan admires her wisdom and judgment as a performer. It strengthens her faith in her own resourcefulness.
