Ayesha Takia has tied knot to her long time boyfriend Farhan Azmi. Farhan is the son of Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi. The marriage took place in Mumbai on March 1. Takia would be now Ayesha Azmi.

Ayesha looked stunning in her wedding finery with her head covered with a dupatta.

The couple tied knot at Koyla, a restaurant in Colaba owned by Farhan. The nikah was performed at 9.30 p.m. A few close relatives and family friends were over there to participate in the ceremony. Media and outers were restricted there, sources participated in the ceremony claimed.

An elated Faridah, Ayesha’s mother, said, “This is the first time in her life that she did that. Actually, Ayesha is not used to wearing traditional clothes. She generally wears western outfits. But she looked very cute.”

Ayesha’s parents took an instant liking to Farhan. He is like a son to them,” said a family friend of Ayesha, when asked about was Ayesha’s family wary in the initial stages of her courtship with Farhan?

“I wouldn’t have let Ayesha marry anybody else. Farhan is so nice,” said her mother. Well, Ayesha will keep working even after the married life, confirmed her mother.
