Nickie Nina showcased a preview of their collection for Pakistan Fashion Week at Lakme India Fashion Week in Bombay, to much acclaim. The show was held on the auspicious occasion of the religious festival of Eid on the 14 th of October. Nickie Nina’s designs were presented to a 700 strong audience including the likes of Fern Mallis , VP IMG and an institution at New York Fashion Week . Anil Chopra , VP Lakme Lever leant his support to the Pakistan Fashion Week preview show along with journalists from Vogue India and Elle India .

While at Lakme India Fashion Week , Nickie and Nina attended New York Fashion Week’s popular designer Sabyasachi’s couture and ready to wear shows where they mingled with Bollywood sensations, actors John Abraham, Rani Mukherjee, Esha Deol, Jackie Shroff, and designer Manish Malhotra as well as with one of New York’s latest design sensations, Nikka . They were also invited to intimate cocktails by socialite and former Miss India Queenie Dhody. Other guests present at this exclusive evening included Anil Chopra , Fern Mallis and creative consultant for Aza, Sabina Chopra .

When asked to comment on their experience at Lakme India Fashion Week Nickie Nina said:

“Lakme India Fashion Week was an exhilarating experience for us. We were delighted to have the majority of creations chosen from our collection to show at the Pakistan Fashion Week preview show. It was also wonderful to have met a number of local and international journalists, socialites and buyers who were taken aback by the sheer potential of our creations and who are now consequently hoping to hop across the border to witness Pakistan’s first ever fashion week.”

Nickie Nina are now getting ready for their solo show at Pakistan Fashion Week.
