Sara Raza Khan opposes SaReGaMaPa rule of body exposure
Sara Raza Khan, a Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009 participant from Lahore, has laid down some ground rules for the producers of the show. She has said that she will participate in the show only if she isn’t asked to wear revealing outfits. Also Pakistani contestant refuses to say ‘Har har Mahadev’ or wear sleeveless dresses on music reality show. Sara confirms the news and says, “Ammijaan was a nervous wreck and was not very keen to send me to Mumbai, particularly because of the kind of clothes the women need to wear in front of the camera.”
Says an insider from Zee TV, “It’s true that girls are made to wear sexy outfits on shows. The glamour quotient is important. Today’s girls have no problems, but there was an issue when we finished with the audition of Sara. She is a fine singer and we selected her, but she said that she will not indulge in body exposure.” Sara adds, “I am not going to wear any sleeveless outfits or short dresses. And I will never drop the dupatta while doing the show. I must add that the scene is different in Pakistan; there people don’t appreciate someone singing in reality shows. Though gradually they are coming around.”

salam im also a muslim girl and i appreciated the sara’s opposition.she is there only 4 singing not 4 wearing clothes lyk that.

even though whatever she says here or before going to the show but in the show she is also used by zee tv. as she is telling about pakistan in the show which is not wrong but again you need to correct it not just talk about clothing i have no issue now i m outside of pakitan and cloth is not really matter as long as they proper.

that’s a true style of an asian lady not only muslim ladies but all asian females should be careful and should not expose their body. there are a few numbers of families in pakistan or india those who appriciate such activity. otherwise in india there are such families who dislike this. so great job SARA keep on best of luck.

clothes do not change who u are.it is only look.It is your behavior
and values towards things that matter.there are many muslims that like indian fashion and many indian’s that like muslim fashion. But,that does not change,who they are.Just smile be happy.eat,sleep, and be happy. ok.

As far as her clothes r concerned its upto her choice.It doesn’t mean that hindu n mumbai’s(indian) women donot have any culture,as this is senseless to talk abt religion or region on this show and she should learn to have religious tolerance as there is nothing wrong in sayng harahara mahadev being a muslim bcoz allah and ram r one n d same.if u really liked ur country n they dnt likereality shows why did u come?????????

hello sara raza khan. to night i watch a prgram virsa hiritage. in this program i like ur performance. i really like ur voice and i rushed to my computer to mail to u. i also like the voice of Ali Abas in that program. he will also a very talented singer. especially i like the song which u both performed. thanks.
