Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will now sensitise people to preserve India’s rich cultural heritage and teach them to be welcoming to foreign tourists. Khan has been appointed Brand Ambassador of the tourism ministry’s Incredible India campaign.
He has shot two TV commercials as part of the ministry’s Social Awareness Campaign this year. The commercials shot at Kanheri caves in Mumbai will be aired from Wednesday on TV channels followed by print advertisements in newspapers and posters.

NEW DELHI: Actor Aamir Khan’s debut directorial venture Taare Zameen Par, a sensitive story of an eight-year-old dyslexic child, has failed to
make to the foreign language category for Oscars at the 81st annual Academy awards.

Aamir Khan-starrer ‘Ghajini’ has become the first film to gross Rs 200 crores
worldwide.
The mark has been achieved by the film in little less than two weeks. The film has grossed Rs 162 crores in domestic market and Rs 39 crores have come from overseas market till the end of second week.
