‘Have u seen the moon yet??’, ‘Is Ramadan going to start tomorrow??’ seems to be on everyone’s lips as the evening before the first day of fasting wears on. Excitement hangs in the air. Somehow, Ramadan always seems like a magical month. As a child growing up in the middle east -being awakened in the wee hours of the morning, hearing a multitude of masjids call one for prayer and sitting and listening to my parents as they narrate incidents from the Holy Quran on charity, self-restraint, and repentance has always been special.

Ali Zafar’s Chanoo has proved itself a real party song. On New Year night , this song forced many to dance with its catchy beats. It remained in hot demand on Eid too. Now on Basant too this song would for sure remain in good demand. We wish Ali Zafar good luck and also hope that now he would also work on improving his vocals and coming up with some impressive lyrics.

Shehzad Roy was in Norway recently where he performed in cities of Oslo and Stavanger. It was great Eid treat for Pakistani community in Norway. The response in Oslo was good but in Stavanger hardly 100 people went to attend the concert. Shehzad Roy is one of Pakistan’s talented singers who is admired by people of every age group because of his great vocals and compositions. These days you can watch few of his new videos on television. We wish him good luck for Zindagi project through which he is educating poor children across Pakistan.
