Karachi Fashion Week 2010 – Day 2

Karachi Fashion Week 2010 being organized from 31st January – 3rd February, 2010, is Pakistan’s platform on International Fashion Week circuits joining Paris, Milan, New York, Sydney, London & India. This is a platform which encourages the business of fashion, awareness of fashion and infuses new and fresh talent in the industry.
Pakistani models presents creation by various designers on the second day of Karachi Fashion Week in Karachi on February 1, 2010. The fashion week is organised by Pakistan textiles and Commerce ministries to promote the South Asian textile.-

Student Designer’s Creation Display in Lahore

Models display creations by Pakistani student designers from STEP educational institute, in Lahore. The fashion show was organized to display collections from emerging students of STEP from the faculty of Art & Design summer collections.
Various student designers showcased their work at a catwalk to present fashion inspired by traditional designs.

Faiza Samee’s Collection

Giving each of her creations an intricate look, Faiza Samee is all set to reinstate the unique art of traditional embroidery on her apparels. Her passion for embroidery was apparent in her display. She conveyed minimalism, traditionalism, romanticism, and vibrancy through her unique selection at Veet Celebration of Beauty Show.
Her creations were a tribute to the lost tradition of embroidery in Pakistan and made a loud appeal to revive it back into style.
