Actress Veena Malik  claimed she had been threatened by the Taliban.
Malik, who is currently in India appearing on television shows for the cricket World Cup, told Express 24/7 that she had received a letter from the Taliban four days ago via a media house in Pakistan. On the authentication of the letter, Malik said she had spoken to representatives of the media house, who confirmed its legitimacy.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan returns from India

Pakistani Singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan returned home on Wednesday after paying a penalty of three million Indian rupees.
The singer was allowed to travel to Pakistan after completion of investigation into customs laws violation and payment of fine.
On his arrival at the Benazir Bhutto airport in Islamabad, the Khan maintained that the money obtained from him was confiscated over ignorance about customs laws and criminal charges were not filed against him.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan charged under Customs Act

Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has been charged under Customs Act for carrying undeclared foreign currency. His manager Maroof also faces similar charges. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) will now confiscate the currency and the matter has been sent to Commissioner Customs (Airports) for adjudication. Playback singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, whose detention at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi international airport on Sunday stirred a diplomatic row between India and Pakistan, was released late on Monday.
