Bridal Couture Week 2011 Highlights Day 1

The second instalment of the Bridal Couture Week (BCW) saw the event straddle both the business and fashion of the bridal industry in equal strength. As intended, a free-for-all gargantuan exhibit housed numerous brands associated with weddings at one end of the Expo Center, while the other end played host to the city’s fashion circuit.

Fashion Pakistan Lounge opens in Lahore

The Karachi-based fashion design council, Fashion Pakistan, opened its own flagship store – Fashion Pakistan Lounge – in Lahore last week.
The store features over 20 designers from Karachi and Lahore. The move comes after the council has organized three fashion weeks since 2008 in Karachi. Second Fashion Pakistan Week 2010 wraps up

The finale of the ‘Fashion Pakistan Week 2′ reached unprecedented heights on Friday with Maheen Khan thanking everybody for their energetic support. She said this platform would promote the Pakistani fashion industry and “get recognition for Pakistan in the international market”.

Second Fashion Pakistan Week 2010 Day 2

The second day of the Fashion Week 2 on Tuesday kicked off with usual frenzy. After an introduction by Maheen Khan, the models hit the ramp and the fun began.

Pakistani fashion in Milan Fashion Week 2009

Models wear creations of Pakistani fashion designers at women’s Spring/Summer 2010 fashion collection, presented in Milan, Italy on Wednesday Sept. 30, 2009. The event was part of the ‘N-U-DE New Upcoming Designers Project’ launched by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana to enhance international designers. Pakistan’s fashion featured on Milan catwalks for the first time.
