Mahesh Bhatt, leading Indian film maker and director and father of bollywood star, Pooja Bhatt has decided to produce a historical film on legendary, Lal Haveli owned by information minister, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.
Mahesh Bhatt visited Lal Haveli a day earlier and went around various parts of haveli. Jhelum will be venue for shooting the film and it will be a real love story.

Indian film-maker Pooja Bhatt’s latest venture “Rog” has proved a hit in the ongoing film festival in Pakistan. Besides, other Bollywood films like Maqbool and Dhoop are also attracting much crowds.

Pakistan government has provided security to Lollywood actress Meera, even as a petition was filed in a Pakistani court seeking to ban her from acting in Indian films.
Meera, who returned from the sets of Mahesh Bhatt’s film ‘Nazar’ in Mumbai three days ago, was provided security after she took up the issue of threats with Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and Information Minister Sheikh Rashid. Indian writer Mahesh Bhatt has signed Meera for his upcoming British-Indian co-production, the name of which is not yet decided.
Film actress Meera confirmed she will be appearing in Mr Bhatt’s new film. She said she would be the first Pakistani actress to perform the lead in any Indian-British co-production.

Pakistani film actress Meera, who has been in the storm over some kissing scenes in the Bollywood flick Nazar, has said that it would be unjust on the part of the government to allow the screening of Mughal-e-Azam and not Nazar.
She said that Nazar also being an Indian movie should be screened in Pakistan, as it would give an impetus to the Indo-Pak peace process. She said that the government should in fact allow the screening of Nazar before Mughal-e-Azam is screened across theaters in Pakistan.

In the first and largest event of its type, Indian and Pakistani film stars and artistes performed together in a six-hour concert to raise funds for tsunami survivors.
Called “Help!”, the concert held in Bombay, was broadcast on several news and entertainment television channels, including Geo TV. Indian film legend Amitabh Bachchan, superstars Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai made appeals for donations.
