Renowned qawwal Maqbool Ahmed Sabri died of a heart attack on Wednesday in Cape Town, South Africa.
He was 60 and had been under treatment in South Africa for two months and was also suffering from diabetes. He leaves behind his widow, three daughters and a son.

Everyone knows how crudely Pakistani artists and singers are treated in India but this makes no difference to Pakistani singer Adnan Sami who is bent upon living in India, Geo News reported.
Recently all the property of the singer was confiscated and a ban imposed on his leaving the country following a petition in Indian high court. But, Adnan Sami is still insisting on showing his association with India.

Adnan Sami Khan is in trouble again. The India-based Pakistani singer is not allowed to leave the country. On Thursday, June 2, the Mumbai sessions court rejected his plea to travel overseas for one-and-a-half months to perform. The restriction comes in connection with a case of domestic violence filed by Khan’s ex-wife Sabah Galadari, reported Hindustan Times.
Khan will now have to approach the Bombay High Court to seek permission.
