One-hundred and thirty sketches by Saeed Akhtar, one of the country’s foremost portrait artists, will go on display at Ejaz Gallery at 6 pm today as part of the launch of Sketchbook, which features 450 sketches by the artist.

The city of Lahore is going to jazz up this month with the German Jazz festival to be held on May 3 and 4. Organized by The Annemarie-Schimmel Haus (German Cultural Centre), the event will kickstart at the National College of Arts (NCA).

A group show of art works by recently graduated five students of the National College of Arts, Rawalpindi campus opened at Rohtas Art Gallery on Friday.
Anuje Farhung, Hifza Sakina, Hira Zubair, Fareeha Nazneen and Mariam Kundi exhibited their latest works under the show title of ‘No Exit’.

An art exhibition entitled ‘Mystic Rituals’ and displaying the calligraphy of Arif Khan is starting at the Nomad Art Gallery, Saidpur Village today (Tuesday).
