For Designer Eid Dress see what Ensemble has to offer

With Eid just around the corner, fashion retail store Ensemble launched its exclusive collection featuring seven designers on Wednesday, August 24.

With a collection of 16 dresses, four of Nomi Ansari’s latest designs featured full-sleeves of jamawaar with blue and shocking pink palettes of chiffon to make flowy shirts. This was Ansari’s formal line priced between Rs35,000 and Rs65,000.

The Extravagant lawn Exhibitions 2011

Summer season is heading now and it is the season of lawn, the new prêt. To provide the comfort of bright and smooth colors with lavishing designs, many designers and celebrities are bringing up their Lawn collections in the market in lavishing exhibitions and carnivals.

With high end courtiers like Umar Sayeed, Hasan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY) and Nomi Ansari and celebrities like Nadia Hussain joining the lawn bandwagon, the summer of 2011 promises exclusive collections. While retail stores like Bonanza just entered the lawn market, Sitara Premium Lawn collaborated with designer Shamaeel, bringing Shamaeel’s Luxury Lawn Collection 2011. Firdous Cloth mills have once again captured audience by roping in Deepika Padukone as Brand Ambassador.

Additionally, rumor has it that Khaadi, Faiza Samee, Shamaeel and Deepak Perwani will also be launching their lawn collections so it’s safe to say that the summer of 2011 will be a battle of epic proportions.

Brand Ambassadors for lawn this year are from TV to Bollywood celebrities like Sahista wahidi and Deepika padukone models for Firdous lawn, Sushmita Sen for Crescent lawn and Iman Ali for Asim Jofa lawn.

Nomi Ansari Collection at Bridal Couture Week Lahore 2010

Nomi Ansari showcased a riot of colours in his celebrated Technicolor palette, from orange and fuchsia with turquoise and green at style 360 Bridal Couture week Lahore.
He began the show with cotton angharkhas in ajrak and other ethnic fabrics that were put together like patchwork which gave way to outfits in more formal fabric like chiffons.
