Noor’s adieu to films

Well, well, well! Noor has decided to quit movies for good and restrict herself to only television.

Quite a surprise move considering that the gal has been active in the bright lights and dark alleys of Lollywood for simply ages - having started off as a successful child artiste and then graduating to adult roles of a heroine - though not really acquiring the stardom of her peers like Reema, Meera, Sana etc.

Last year, the Pakistan pavilion won the Best Cultural Activities award during DSF. For the 10th anniversary of the DSF this year, the organisers have lined up a spectacular calendar of events that presents every aspect of the country’s cultural heritage. A number of star-studded cultural and musical shows have been scheduled throughout the DSF and will be presented at the Global Village and at other festival venues. Well-known Pakistani actor and comedian, Umer Sharif and popular actress Noor will inaugurate the cultural activities at the Pakistan pavilion with a live performance on Thursday (January 20) at 8.30pm. The show, free for all visitors, is organised by the Consulate General of Pakistan in association with Spotlight FZ LLC.

Resham’s desperate bid to stay afloat

Poor Resham is desperately trying to stay afloat in the topsy-turvy filmy seas. But it seems the efforts are not working.

Recently, the silken lass from Faisalabad invited a producer to her house on dawat She left no stone unturned to please and entertain the gent, who also thoroughly relished the attention and adulation showered on him.

Towards the end of the feast, upon seeing that the iron was hot, our lass implored the gent to take her in his films, promising that his every wish or should we say whim, would be her command. The man left promising to get back to her.

Noor inclines to Hrithik this time

Rising star Noor, who started her acting career as a child star and become a heroine in her very first movie Jan Jan Pakistan, wants to marry Indian superstar Hrithik Roshan who has become the craze of young women.But there’s a condition - he has to become a Muslim first. Does Hrithik got a say on the subject ?

Unlike the Indian , her first picture couldn’t break any ice, yet she got a dozen new assignment but they were all for side roles including No Paisa No Problem ,which was released last month.Noor says she is eighteen years of age and wishes to remain on the big screen at least for ten years.
