The Abhishek Bachchan-Sonam Kapoor starrer upcoming film DELHI 6 is all set to hit the screens on 20th February
Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra (of AKS and RANG DE BASANTI fame) the movie is reportedly based on Mehra’s growing up years in Chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi. Right from its making days the film was in constant news for its casting and frequent postponement. Also several changes were made in the script.

Although Farhan Akhtar had scripted his debut film DIL CHAHTA HAI, his next film – LAKSHYA – won’t be scripted by the talented director, but by his father, writer Javed Akhtar. The reason? “That’s because the idea is dad’s,” Zoya Akhtar, Farhan’s sister, reveals, “When dad bounced off the idea of LAKSHYA to Farhan, he liked it immensely and that’s how dad decided to pen the script.”

Samina Peerzada will act opposite Indian film star Om Puri in a co-produced drama serial, sources told Daily Times on Thursday.
Sources said Ms Peerzada signed the 13-episode serial and would play lead role opposite Mr Ompuri. According to reports, serial producer Humanyun Saeed has requested Ms Peerzada to perform in the serial written by Karachi-based writer Seema Ghazal. The name of the serial has not yet been decided, however, it revolves around the story of a family settled in Dubai.
