As announced by GM Public Relations Hum Network, the Bridal Couture Week held in Lahore from October 15 to 16, 2011.

Four shows would be held with 13 designers participating including those from India.

Ali Xeeshan, Bina Sultan (BNS Couture), Fahad Hussain, Faheem Abbas, Gulzeb Asif, Kosain Kazmi, Mona Imran, Saba (La Chantal), Saba and Misbah (Hijab), Sadaf Arshad, Saira Rizwan, Shayanne Malik (Saman Zar) and Shaziya Kiyani (Shaziya Bridal Gallery). Gutam Rakha, Rahul Rastogi.

Shibani Rastogi (Rabani and Rakha) are especially flying in from India with their collection for event.

Style360 Bridal Couture Week in association with J&S, brought the week to a close in a magnificent way. In keeping with the bold and challenging initiative it had taken up of changing the set everyday – there were red chandeliers on the first day, and egg-shaped lamps and chandeliers on the second – the ramp was decorated with a profusion of red roses and different chandeliers, with white cut-out roses adorning the stage.

The show organized by Style360 and sponsored by Pantene opened with Karachi’s home-grown Deepak Perwani, one of the well-reputed and brilliant fashion designers of Pakistan is a name that requires no introduction. His product line includes bridal wear, bridal accessories and saris.

Deepak Perwani never follows the traditional or ongoing fashion statement of the country; rather he makes ‘his own’. He showcased his latest collection of bridal wear, which was a treat to watch. Reem Abbasi and Amna Kardar came in next. Reem Abbasi is an Islamabad-based jewellery designer who produces not only modern, high fashion jewellery but also intricate and traditional pieces from Pakistan’s rich culture.

After the fashionable debut of Style 360 Bridal Couture Week in Lahore, another grand episode of this bridal extravaganza is on its way to hit the city of lights. Style 360, Pantene and J&S collaborate yet again to bring to you this grand extravaganza. Set in the metropolitan city by the sea, Karachi; Bridal Couture Week 2011 will run from the 22nd to the 24th of April at the Expo Center Hall no 6.

The three days will showcase an exhibition area, fashion show runway, and an exuberant media pack……age that will be a treat for viewers, guests, attendees and all the people involved in this endeavor.

This event is not just a platform for exhibiting local and international talent and services but a stage that facilitates business relationships. All the different businesses that form the wedding industry of Pakistan are expected to take part in the event. People from all over the country are expected to gather and witness this great fashion event; to have a glimpse at the ethnic contemporary variety of Pakistan.

Owing to security concerns, Pakistan’s first Bridal Couture Week, scheduled to take place in Lahore from November 26 to 28 will now be featuring only exclusive fashion shows of bridal couture.
