Spicezee Bureau Mumbai, Nov 25: Call it superstition or lady luck, but Akshay Kumar is desperately seeking Katrina in all his films. The uber hit onscreen jodi that have been touted ‘King and Queen’ at the Box Office this year are in no mood to part ways, for the man in this filmy relationship is exploring all ways to rope in the long legged lass in all his ventures. Then even if that means the ‘Kinng’ will have to twist a few things or two, the actor doesn’t seem to mind it at all.

You seem to be the Queen of Big Budget films. After the super-duper ‘Race’ and ‘Singh Is Kinng’, you have yet another biggie lined up for release — ‘Yuvvraaj’. How does it feel?
It feels great but I don’t think budget has anything to do with the quality of a film. It’s the content and presentation which matters at the end of the day. Yuvvraaj being a musical drama, it calls for grand visuals and a certain larger than life canvas.
The film seems like a complete entertaining drama. Could you tell us something more about the film?

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are playing lovers for the first time in upcoming flick, Yuvvraaj though they have acted together in several films.
This is also the time when Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have gone public with their off screen romance.
Salman and Katrina have decided to go public no matter what the odds. Too much intimacy on screen and off screen may deter family audiences.
On the other hand Katrina believes that an off screen romance will have no impact on the fate of a film as Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor proved in Jab We Met.

Yup, there’s a lot of action and chemistry brewing in the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif love story. So we can safely say a ‘thumbs down’ to all those sources claiming that the love story has reached its climax, probably it’s just pyar ke side effects.
But whatever may the truth about Kats-Sallu’s real life romance, their on-screen magic is a stunner. It’s sizzling! Yeah, ask us. We were the lucky ones who got an advance sneak peek at some scenes of Subhash Ghai’s Yuvvraj. And we must say, we were blown away.

He laughed at the realisation, “You cannot miss me for too long. I will be back.” The Bollywood Badshah explained his absence. He was busy “with incessant shooting” for his home production Billoo Barber and Yashraj’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi which he hopes to complete before plunging into preparations for the next Twenty20 tournament.
During this time the ‘King’ tag which he wore for years came within grabbing distance of other Bollywood contenders. It is a situation that amuses him. “It’s better to be known as King Khan than Pauper Khan,” admitted SRK. “But this is just an image, a clever alliteration by the media. My kids don’t wake me up in the morning saying, ‘Get up, King’. They say, ‘Get up, Daddy’. That says it all. It’s far away from reality.”

Subhash Ghai is planning to cast Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead in his next film.
“Yes, Salman and I have spoken about doing one more film together after ‘Yuvraaj’. It will be a complete entertainer that talks about today’s youth. We will start the film only towards the end of next year since Salman’s dates also need to be available and even I need time to work on the script. As for Katrina, she has been signed by Mukta Arts for 3 films, so she will also be a part of this project in all probability,” the veteran director said.

The Venus produced ‘De Dana Dhan’ will have Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif coming together for the fifth time. This jodi has emerged as one of the most successful on screen jodis of all times in Bollywood what with their three back two back hits, ‘Namastey London’, ‘Welcome’ and ‘Singh Is Kinng’ having done record business at the box office world wide( though most of the above can only be called surprise hits!)

Known to be inspired by 2003 released Hollywood flick ‘Bruce Almighty’, God Tussi Great Ho has the spontaneous performance of Salman Khan but the depiction of script is a problem. Comedy is non uniform in the film and a few scenes are impressively acceptable. The songs of the film are choreographed well but the songs are rather disappointing for not being innovative.
