Homemade Sugar Scrub

50 percent white cane sugar (note that organic sucanat, while the best choice for food, doesn’t work as well for this recipe)
50 percent vegetable glycerin to moisten the sugar (use avocado oil)
Small amounts of aloe vera gel,
vitamin C crystals, or anything healing that dissolves in water.
1 or 2 drops of essential oil if desired ( combining orange and lavender)
Enough ground hibiscus powder for pink color (if desired)

Facial scrub for dry skin

Facial scrub with oat meal:
Take 2 tablespoons of oatmeal powder and 3 to 4 tablespoons of buttermilk.
Mix these two ingredients and apply this paste on your face.
Leave for few minutes and allow it to dry.
Try to remove it with gentle scrubbing and then wash your face with lukewarm water.

Lemon Sugar Body Scrub

This recipe will gently exfoliate your hands and/or feet and remove dead skin, leaving you soft, silky and refreshed!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar (or salt, if preferred)
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Enough for one application of both hands and feet & can be stored for a week
