A music and dance evening titled ‘Sur Taal’ organised by the Society of Classical Arts (SCA) was held at Alhamra Cultural Complex on Monday.

Before the programme, Bina Jawwad, an SCA member, said that SCA had been founded to promote Pakistani music and dance heritage amongst the young generation. Ms Jawad lamented that artists were not being valued and were underselling themselves. She stressed the need to revive classical music and dance –the legacy of spirituals and Sufi saints.

I think in one way a cat, because cats are moody they are stubborn, cats will give you love and they love to eat their food. I would love to be a bird because the joy of flying is something which I’ve always fascinated.
