Mumbai (PTI): The indefinite strike called by Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) entered the third day on Friday with bodies of workers and producers holding negotiations to thrash out the differences.
Yashraj, Mehboob, Filmistan, Film City and other studios continued to remain shut. Shooting of daily soaps has been the worst hit. FWICE, which has over 1.5 lakh members in 22 unions covering different crafts of the film industry, are demanding stipulated wages on time and regulated working hours. They are also opposing producers, hiring workers who do not belong to any of the unions.

Bollywood elites don’t like mingling with her, others make fun of her, but the popularity of bold and ‘bindaas’ Rakhi Sawant is growing by leaps and bounds. Post Sony TV’s “Bigg Boss”, she managed to appear on Karan Johar’s swish chat show “Koffee with Karan” and now she is doing an item number in Rakesh Roshan’s “Krazy 4″. “Look at my good fortune, I’ve been signed by Rakesh Roshanji to do an item song in ‘Krazy 4′. I had tears in my eyes when Rakesh Roshanji called,” said Rakhi, who was seen in bit roles in “Chura Liya Hai Tumne” and “Mumbai Express”.

The first Bollywood concert to be held in Lahore, earlier scheduled for mid-February has been rescheduled to March 25.
When Concord 2004 was suddenly postponed last month, Bunty Walia, Managing Director of GS Entertainment had cited “technical reasons” for the deferment.
But the new date means that the first show of Bollywood stars in Lahore will take place the day after the one-day cricket match between India and Pakistan in Lahore (March 24).
Organised by Delhi-based Entertainment Works, Walia’s GS Entertainment is managing the stars, their stage acts and the script of the show.

Dharmesh Darshan’s Dhadkan is a sensitively directed story that manages to raise interesting questions to which the answers often cause moral dilemmas.
DOES the past always come back to haunt you? And above all, can an Indian husband accept his wife’s past?
Dhadkan tells the story of Anjali (Shilpa Shetty), Dev (Sunil Shetty) and Ram (Akshay Kumar) and how love changes the course of their lives. Dev, born illegitimate is full of anger and resentment - the only Dhadkanhappiness in his otherwise dark life is Anjali but even this is so intense it borders on obsessive.
