Aamir to visit Amitabh Bachchan

October 16th, 2008

Aamir Khan was reportedly at loggerheads with Amitabh Bachchan thanks to criticism in his blog about Big B’s film Black and his acting in it. This was at the time when Aamir’s directorial debut Taare Zameen Par was about to be released. Much was later written in the media about each other’s comments to each other.

Aamir Khan loves to bully SRK!

October 15th, 2008

One is a huge star while the other is a fine actor with great cinematic sensibilities.

Shah Rukh might be the king of Bollywood who’s delivered plenty of super hits(in spite of King Kumar’s rapidly growing popularity) but Aamir Khan has always managed to hold his own with sensible flicks like ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and even the movie which he produced for his nephew Imran, ‘Jaane Tu…’

Now smart Aamir hasn’t and won’t go blatant with his war with SRK like bad boy Salman Khan. He would rather do it his own subtle way.
Not very long ago he blogged about a ‘dog called Shahrukh’ which created quite a controversy but it didn’t go out of hand (maybe because of Aamir’s restrained ways)!

Shamita Shetty on Hari Puttar

September 26th, 2008

She is sultry, she is seductive, and more than that, she is sexy siren Shilpa Shetty’s lil’ sis. But lil’ sis of late seems to have taken up a fun masti number in a peppy Mirchi Movies’ children’s film ‘Hari Puttar - A Comedy of Terrors’ starring young leaders of the bratpack, Zain Khan and Swini Khara.

A tete-a-tee with the actor on the eve of the release of ‘Hari Puttar - A Comedy of Terrors’.

Darsheel Safary

Darsheel Safary, of ‘Taare Zameen Par’ fame, will now star in multilingual director Priyadarshan’s Hindi remake of an acclaimed Iranian film.

Priyadarshan’s film is a remake of the 1998 Iranian movie ‘Children of Heaven’ that underlines a poignant relationship between siblings. The Indian version of the film will be released early next year and is expected to be shown in several foreign film festivals, said a publicist.

Meanwhile Priyadarshan’s forthcoming venture ‘Kanchipuram’, a celluloid diatribe against communism woven around the silk trade in Kanchipuram, 60 km from Chennai, is scheduled to be shown at the Toronto Film Festival next month.
