Skin Protection

It’s important to protect yourself from the sun’s harmful UV rays. Too much sun can damage your skin, or even lead to skin cancer. Learn more about how you can protect the skin you’re in.

How to Protect Your Skin in the Summer Sun

Wear Sunscreen:

To protect yourself from the sun’s harmful UV rays, wear a minimum SPF 15 sunscreen every day. Be sure your sunscreen is waterproof. Read the directions carefully and then apply.

Cover Up:

Wear protective clothing and duptta when you’re out in the sun. Don’t wear dark colors (especially black) on sunny days. Loose-fitting clothing made from tightly woven fabric works best.
