Meera to Participate in Bigg Boss Season 5?

After Pakistani actress Veena Malik, actress Meera will be a part of Indian TV reality show Bigg Boss season five, revealed a newspaper.
According to the newspaper, Meera couldn’t make it into ‘Bigg Boss’ house this season, she is positive about being a part of season 5 and already has her agenda clear in mind.
“I will be part of ‘Bigg Boss 5 InshaAllah,” Meera revealed.

TV junk-food ads boost kids’ appetites

Television ads for junk food often tend to make children hunger for those treats, especially if they watch a lot of television, according to a study.
The findings, published in Americal journal Pediatrics, come amid growing calls to ban junk food advertisements aimed at children in order to combat obesity. Recently the American Academy of Pediatrics, issued a policy statement on June 27 urging a ban on junk food ads.

TV artiste Jamil Fakhri passes away

Veteran TV actor Jamil Fakhri passed away on Thursday. He left behind a widow and three sons. He was 65. Fakhri was admitted to Mayo Hospital on May 31 after suffering a stroke that resulted in paralysis.
Many of Fakhri’s close friends believe the death of his young son, Ali Ayaz Fakhri, in the USA a few months back took a heavy toll on the actor’s health and he could not recover from the shock.
Jamil Fakhri was born in Lahore in 1946. After graduation, he joined the National Bank of Pakistan.

Coke Studio @ MTV to rock India

After wooing music lovers in Pakistan, “Coke Studio” is now going to India where it will bring together 45 musicians from different parts of the country who are experts in various genres such as folk, classical and qawwali.
The Indian version is called “Coke Studio@MTV” and will air on MTV next month.
