How your eyebrows are groomed can make a considerable difference in your appearance. Eyebrows help shape your eyes and give you character. If you have bushy eyebrows, it’s important to keep them trimmed and well groomed. Most people need some kind of eyebrow maintenance. Many of these tips work well for women as well as men.
Never shave your eyebrows for a quick fix. You will regret it later when they all start growing back in. It will look obvious, and require constant maintenance — so save the razor for your beard.

What causes facial hair in women? The same hormones that cause it in men. Let’s face it: we’re a hairy breed. And in the all too human world of beauty, we value smooth, hairless skin. Our hormones create hair, even in the female of the species, and as women we spend a lot of time fighting Nature to please Fashion. Removing facial hair is an issue for women all over the world: even in ancient times, women used hot honey and tree saps to remove unwanted hair from the jaw line, upper lip, eyebrows and chin.

Why excess hair ?
Unwanted hair on the body or face does not necessarily indicate a hormonal imbalance. Prevalent in a large number of perfectly normal women, especially as they get older, it is frequently an inherited characteristic common to either specific families or races. Women are particularly prone to develop hair where they don’t want it during the glandular changes connected with fertility. Most girls can trace the beginnings to the onset of puberty, pregnancy or menopause. Occasionally excessive hair can be the result of a physical ailment or a glandular disturbance resulting in an imbalance of the male and female sex hormones. It could even develop as a side effect of steroid creams or hormone pills prescribed to treat other conditions. But these disorders are infrequent causes of excessive hair.
