If you thought that Indian filmmakers were not competent enough to come out with a hardcore super-duper entertaining animation flick, then you’re sadly mistaken for now ‘Yash Raj Films’ (YRF), who have been under a public scanner for making films a mere business or a ploy to mint money. They have also been weathering accusations that they have reduced to being sheer businessmen, and have come up with a product that will hopefully put an end to such indictments.

Yet another Yashraj’s product, Bachna Ae Haseeno, is a flick which would be especially liked by the youth. This romantic movie deals with a young guy Ranbir, who falls in love with 3 ladies at different time, first, when he is in HSC (1996), second when he starts working with a company in Mumbai (2002) and third when he moves to Australia.

Saathiya is a very light romantic drama, an old-fashioned story from the era of 70s & 80s where parents and social status used to come as an inseparable wall and the lovers usually have to run away from their homes and do secret marriages. The only so-called new or better thing shown is the real life drama which happens after the marriage. The ups and downs faced by the couple, is the interesting part of the movie which is the real essence of the whole story.
